Taking care of YOU!

Now that you are a mom it is still important to take care of YOU! I know its hard with a family and a house to take care of but taking care of yourself will make you a better mom/wife/friend and so on.

Here is a list of things I do that make me happy...

  1. Exercise - 3 days a week for 30 mins (even if its just going for a walk)
  2. Spend time with friends - It is so important to have some adult interaction
  3. Buy something for yourself - We get so caught up in buying things for our kids and feel guilty spending money on us
  4. Get a massage - Nothing beats an hour of quiet relaxation time
  5. Read a good book
  6. Do something that makes you feel pretty - Get your hair done, put on some make up, get dressed up
  7. Listen to happy/relaxing music - Somethimes before bed I like to listen to music to help me sleep
